What would you like to calculate next?

How many views are needed for KRW 3 million per month?

Required views depend on your revenue target and RPM. The formula is target revenue ÷ RPM × 1,000. At KRW 3,000 RPM, a simple estimate needs about 1 million views for KRW 3 million in monthly ad revenue.

Why use your own RPM?

YouTube RPM measures a creator's total revenue per 1,000 views. Viewer countries, topic, ad demand, Premium, and membership revenue differ between channels, so equal view counts can have different RPM.

Monthly revenue targetAssuming KRW 3,000 RPM
KRW 1,000,000About 333,000 views
KRW 3,000,000About 1 million views
KRW 5,000,000About 1,667,000 views
KRW 10,000,000About 3,333,000 views

Can I calculate Shorts the same way?

The reverse formula is the same, but Shorts uses a different revenue-sharing structure from Watch Page ads. YouTube allocates Shorts Feed ad revenue through the Creator Pool and pays creators 45% of their allocation. Use actual Shorts RPM or a conservative Shorts-specific assumption.
