Which data does the Channel Analyzer use?
It uses public channel statistics and recent upload data from the YouTube Data API: subscribers, lifetime views, video counts, individual video views, and publication dates. It does not access private YouTube Studio data such as actual RPM, ad impressions, or revenue by viewer country.
How are monthly views estimated?
The analyzer calculates viewing velocity from recent videos' cumulative views and days since upload, giving older videos less weight. It does not read the actual last 30 days of channel views; it provides an estimate based on recent public video velocity.
Are estimated earnings actual AdSense payouts?
No. Another channel's actual RPM and AdSense payouts are not public. SocialCalcHub applies separate Shorts and long-form RPM ranges to estimated monthly views. For your own channel, first use the RPM Calculator with your actual data, then enter the result in the Revenue Calculator for a more useful estimate.
How are Shorts identified?
The YouTube Data API has no simple universal Shorts flag. This analyzer treats recent videos up to 180 seconds long as Shorts candidates. This may differ from YouTube's actual classification, and the result explains this limitation.
How to interpret channel revenue estimates
How accuracy could improve
Repeated daily observations can accumulate total-view and subscriber snapshots, allowing changes in public statistics to be calculated instead of relying on estimated velocity. SocialCalcHub plans to show recent changes for channels as observation history becomes available.
Frequently asked questions
Can I enter an @handle instead of a URL?
Yes. We support @handles, youtube.com/@handle URLs, and channel IDs starting with UC.
Can I view private channels or videos?
No. We analyze only public information available through the public API.
Can I use estimated earnings as a sponsorship price?
Ad-revenue estimates and sponsorship rates are different. Brand pricing also depends on audience composition, average views, engagement, and production costs.
